Iafrate's Skullet

Al Iafrate spent most of his 14 year career with the Maple Leafs and the Washington Capitals. He was most recognized for his hard slap shot, but any hockey fan would remember him for his 'Skullet'. A mix between a mullet, and a bald mans shiner. Some could say Al was a bit of a goon, putting up 1301 Penalty minutes in 799 games and adding over 400 points, which isn't bad for someone know to live in the box. Many people will remember Al, not because of his play, but because of his hair, and his tale will tell for many years to come.

Braden's Beard

Maybe not one of the craziest beards you have ever seen, but it certainly holds its ground when it come to cleanest and most fashionable beards the the league. Braden Holtby has recently proved himself as an elite goalie in the NHL. He maybe not the best, but he is certainly close to the top, similar to his beard game. Not many people notice his beard as he wears a goalie helmet, but once you do, you're immediately jealous. I'm sure Braden hopes that his slick beard and slick play can lead his team to the Stanley cup this year!

Chewbacca

After talking about Joe Thornton's beard I think its only fair to introduce his team mate Brent Burn. He and Joe hold the lead in the leagues best beards by a long shot. Burns is a spectacular offensive defensemen who can even play forward for your team. His game isn't the only thing that is adaptable. Burns started his career with zero facial hair, but now has adapted to the ways of Chewbacca from star wars. Burns isn't just fun to watch play hockey, it's actually very entertaining to watch his beard while he is playing as it flows in the cool, crisp arena air.

Joe's 'Mullet'

In today's blog, I would like to introduce Joe Thornton. The NHL's best representative of beards and one of the best passers in the league. Just this past week, Joe completed a spectacular achievement in 1000 career assists. Not only is Joe known for his spectacular play, but he and team mate Brent Burns are known for their astonishing Beards. Yes I know it's not a mullet, but I thought this is a great time to introduce Joe. Hopefully you enjoyed this blog as much as I enjoy looking at Joe's beard.

Williams Golden Glow

Today we look at something a little different then the classic mullet. Our feature today is Toronto Maple Leafs prospect William Nylander. Nylander is having a fantastic rookie season so far putting up 43 points after 60 games played. Many people don't even notice Nylander as he hides in the shadows of the Leafs rookie stars Matthews and Marner. I feel the same about his hair. With his helmet on, you wouldn't notice his gorgeous hair. But during interview time, its the centre of attention.

Marko Kiprusoff's Magical Mullet

Marko hardly set foot into the NHL, but we still can't deny how amazing his hair looks. As I usually do in my other blogs, I tell you a bit about the person I'm featuring, and compliment their hair, but Marko is a different story. I really don't know what to say about Marko in regard to statistics, but with hair like he's got, he'd be a little intimidating to play against to say the least.

Gretzky's Magical Mullet

We can all agree that Gretzky was and still holds claim to the best player to lace up skates in the NHL and even in the entire world. In total, the great one holds or shares 61 NHL records. Some of these records include most goals (894 in 1487 games played), most goals in a season (92 in 80 regular season games), and most assists in a season (1963 in 1487 games) which means he holds the record for most points.
Being the great player he was, some aspects of him were over looked, such as his hair. Gretzky is not only a one of a kind hockey player, but has one of a kind hair as well. His luscious locks flow in the breeze as he flies past his opponents. I certainly think we can all agree Gretzky is the best player in the world and has some of the best hair as well.
